Explaining the car pictures
So when I posted the pictures of our poor car, I figured that everyone had already heard the story of Sara's accident a couple of months ago. But since that doesn't seem to be the case, I'll add a quick explanation.

So the week before Sara left she went to Utah to visit roommates and friends, etc. Her last night there, she was dropping someone off in Springville, was stopped at a light, and got rear-ended by some 21-year old idiot who wasn't paying attention because he was looking for a CD or something. So she was stopped and he was going over 40 mph. He hit Sara and killed our car, she hit the car in front of her, who hit the car in front of them. So this one guy caused a 4 car accident. Sara was ok (she ended up going to the doctor in Denver just to make sure) and the guy she was giving a ride home went to the hospital but was fine. The airbags deployed, etc, and the trunk was totally demolished.

I am impressed by how the car was engineered; you can actually see the crumple zones at the end of the passenger area of the car. Everything beyond that is crushed, but where the people are looks fine. Which is exactly what's supposed to happen. But the car was totalled. So we got a new car (well, a newer car) with a cool GPS thing inside it so we'll never get lost again (right). That's the story.

I gotta say I'm impressed with the engineering of the car. Note the crumple zones at the end of the trunk space. Posted by Hello
